143rd staging of the Barwon Regatta
A big season of rowing is set to kick off on the Barwon River next weekend with Geelong hosting the 143th Barwon Regatta on Saturday the 27th and Sunday the 28th of January 2024.

Head of the Schoolgirls Regatta 2023
It’s been a big season of schoolgirl rowing on the Barwon River and next week it culminates with Geelong hosting the Head of the Schoolgirls Regatta from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th March. The regatta will attract over 2300 schoolgirls from over 45 schools across the state competing in 40 events over the three-day regatta.

Geelong to host the Head of the Schoolgirls Regatta
It’s been a big season of schoolgirl rowing on the Barwon River and next week it culminates with Geelong hosting the Head of the Schoolgirls Regatta from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th March. The regatta will attract over 2200 schoolgirls from 45 schools across the state competing in 51 events over the three-day regatta.

The weekend just gone saw an oarsome display of rowing in Geelong for the 2022 Barwon Regatta. In almost perfect rowing conditions, 1822 athletes competed in 320 races being run every three minutes across the two days.
141st Barwon Regatta
The Barwon Regatta will be staged on Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th January 2022. This will be the 141st staging of the Barwon Regatta.
Notice of road works
As part of the works to install a sewer line for the Jeff Sykes Rowing Centre, the location of the existing Barwon Water sewer main needs to be proven.
